Ageing Aged in bottle in the Dow’s cellars in Portugal for three years before being offered for sale.
Consumption Crusted Port, although approachable at the time of release (i.e. 3 years after bottling), will repay the patience of allowing it to develop for 2-3 or more years in bottle. Offers an excellent value alternative to Vintage Port.
Colour Deep dark red colour.
Aroma On the nose packed with aromas of fresh plums, delicious blackcurrants and floral scents of violets and roses.
Flavour On the palate very vigorous and full-bodied with plenty of concentrated ripe fruit flavours and a long slightly drier finish.
