Encostas de Aire is located in the wine region of Alta Estremadura and comprises the municipalities of Batalha and Vila Nova de Ourém, as well as some parishes of the municipalities of Leiria, Pombal and Porto de Mós. The region's QWPSR wines are produced with the white grape varieties Arinto, Fernão Pires, Malvasia, Tamarez and Vital, and with the red Baga, Periquita and Trincadeira Preta.
