Ageing Aged in bottle in the Dow’s cellars in Portugal for three years before being offered for sale.
Consumption Crusted Port, although approachable at the time of release (i.e. 3 years after bottling), will repay the patience of allowing it to develop for 2-3 or more years in bottle. Offers an excellent value alternative to Vintage Port.
Colour Shows a deep dark red ruby colour.
Aroma Aromas of plums and intense concentrated fruit, combined with a peppery liveliness.
Flavour Rich and full of ripe berry fruit on the palate, with elegance and poise.
