| Description |
Fonte Cal is originally from Beira Interior, where it is mainly planted, particularly in the area of Pinhel.
It is a grape variety of good production and easily adaptable to any weather conditions. It has medium grapes and very compact yellowish green berries.
Wines produced with Fonte Cal have floral and fruity aromas, good acidity and a pleasant, well-structured taste. However, this grape variety is mostly used for blend wines, being especially blended with Arinto. |
