Type of grape variety White
Description Low quality white grape variety with a culture area confined to the Lima sub-region and with no representativeness; little productive, it produces undefined wines.

Synonymy: also known as «Esgana-Cão».

Budding open, cottony, white and with margins slightly carmine.
Young leaf yellow with bronze spots; very cottony on the down side of the blade and pubescent on the upper side.
Flower androgynous.
Shoots internodes with red striations on the back side and green on the frontal side; medium anthocyanin pigmentation of the buds; erect to half-erect growth.
Tendrils discontinuous, short, pubescent and straight.
Adult leaf small size, wedge-shaped, with three lobes or entire, dark green, flat, sometimes slightly folded down and medium bubbly, medium long teeth and rectilinear margins, some of them convex; slightly open petiolar sinus with a V shaped base and open upper lateral sinus with a V shaped base; cottony and slightly bristly, webbed petiole shorter than the medium main vein.
Bunch small, usually with one wing; compact to medium compact; medium length peduncle and insignificant lignification.
Berry medium size and uniform, round, yellow green colour; with bloom, medium thick skin and little apparent hilum; firm and little juicy with a simple flavour; medium long pedicel of difficult separation.
Seeds hard tegument, predominantly two per berry; big, round, short and little pronounced beak.
Stalks elliptic cross-section, striated surface, yellow brownish colour; short, thin and irregular; medium to short internodes and large and darker nodes; small, sharp and very prominent buds.
